Planning things is always a good idea. You get an idea of what you need to do, when you need to do it, and how much that thing costs. Plus, it keeps you on track so you don’t forget anything. There are a ton of planner apps on Android. You can find apps to plan anything from meals to weddings, gardens, budget, and even super basic daily planners. There are a load of options out there, but we think we can help narrow it down. Here are the best planner apps to plan just about anything.

Floor Plan Creator lets you plan out your house room by room. It creates floor plans across multiple floors and you can add furniture by its dimensions so you can see what the space looks like with all of your stuff. Additionally, the app comes with a 3D mode, S-Pen and mouse support, cloud syncing (pro version only), and several other features. It’s a bit difficult to use at first and the app leaves a lot of the learning to the user. However, it worked admirably in our testing and I actually used this to plan for a new couch. Those with the Google Play Pass can use the premium version of this app for free.

From Seed to Spoon is one of maybe a handful of garden planner apps that aren’t terrible. This one has guides on growing over 100 different plants, integration with Burpee for seed purchase, guides on how to deal with garden pests, and more. There are also guides for where to plant, how to plant, and planning your yield. The developers turned their entire lawn into a farm so we think they may know a thing or two about it. The app includes in-app purchases and most of them are for seeds and garden tools.

Google Maps is a bit of an obvious choice for this. You can find all kinds of businesses along your route, navigate to where you need to go, and it includes niceties like real-time traffic updates. However, the big feature is the support for multiple stops as one would probably need when performing a route. Google Maps supports over 200 countries and you can download maps for temporary offline use. Another somewhat decent, albeit niche, app in this space is Routin.

My Study Life is a great study planner for high school and college students as well as teachers. The app is cross-platform so you can use it on your phone, tablet, or computer. Additionally, it lets you track your tasks and homework assignments, notifications for upcoming stuff, and some extra tools for teachers. To be honest, this isn’t all that much different from a calendar app. However, those extra tools specifically for academia helps set My Study Life apart from your standard calendar app. The app is also entirely free.

The Knot is an excellent wedding planner app. You can basically plan the entire wedding in just this app. You can keep track of things like flower delivery, caterers, your RSVPs (as well as meal choices), your registry, and even a budgeting function. There is also a checklist included for extra smaller things that don’t fit into the other categories. Plenty of people use this app to plan entire weddings from A to Z and as far as we can tell, it’s entirely free. Bridebook is another great app for this kind of stuff too.
