Good photography shouldn't only live in screens.

Keep in mind these are not the absolute best the industry has to offer. We are focusing on the best products at different price points, keeping in mind photographers have different needs. This is why we won’t be including huge industry-grade printers that costs many thousands of dollars. This guide is more geared towards consumers and the professionals who want to print their work from time to time.
Editor’s note: This list of the best photo printers will be regularly updated as worthy products launch.
The Canon Selphy CP1300 is small and affordable, but it is a one of the best photo printers in its class. It weighs only 1.9 pounds and is a very versatile printer, as it can handle multiple sizes: 4 x 6 inches, 3.5 x 4.7 inches, 2.1 x 3.4 inches, 2.1 x 2.1 inches, and 2 x 6 inches (photobooth strip style).
The optional battery pack can make it completely portable. It’s also unique in that it uses dye-sublimation technology for printing. This means there is no waiting time after printing, photos are waterproof, and images can last up to 100 years.

The Canon TS9120 is too much printer for the price!
Edgar Cervantes
What makes the Canon TS9120 one of the best photo printers is its great specs and versatility for the price. It can serve as a regular document printer, a scanner, a copier, and its photo printing capabilities are also competent. Print resolution is more than acceptable at 4800 x 1200 DPI (dots per inch). It has a 6-color individual ink system and a photo blue ink tank for reduced grain. If you are into filters, you can add them using the included screen. You also get other cool features like wireless printing, CD printing, and memory card support. Not to mention it looks mighty good!

Fujifilm’s Instax Share SP-3 is one of the company’s best photo printers if you want small square images and the commodity of portability. These prints are larger than the ones from the SP-2, coming in at 2.4 x 2.4 inches. Fuji says it used this format to make the printer ideal for printing Instagram photos, which default to the same 1 x 1 aspect ratio. You can add filters and text to your photos through the app, and you can even search specific tags to find photos you want to print.
The SP-3 uses a rechargeable Fuji NP-50 battery for power, but you can also charge it with a standard micro-USB cable. While you’ll likely be charging it with a cable most times, it’s nice to have the option to replace the battery if you use a camera that shares the same battery format.
