Google Lens has a new copy/paste feature to let you copy/paste text from mobile to PC.

Google Lens on Android is getting some handy new productivity features. The image recognition tool can now help you copy/paste text from the real world to a computer, learn how to pronounce new words, and quickly look up concepts you don’t understand. Let’s take a quick look at all the new features.

Lens could already help you copy text from the real world to your smartphones. This feature now also works for copying text to your desktops and laptops.

Say you have a handwritten note you want to send in an email or edit on your PC, you can now do so by simply selecting the text you wish to copy with Lens and tapping “copy to computer.”

This will paste the selected text – be it from a printed paper, a sign board, or a handwritten note – to your computer signed-in with Chrome. Google says that copying text to your computer may require relaunching Chrome to get the latest update.

Understanding difficult pronunciations, concepts, and words

Another new feature being added to Lens will help improve your pronunciation of difficult words. All you need to do is select the desired word with Lens and tap the new “Listen” button to hear it read out loud.

Additionally, Lens will also let you look up concepts you don’t understand. Say for instance you’re reading a book and come across the phrase “Quantum Physics.” You can simply pull up Google Lens, select the complicated phrase or word, and get a Google Search result for it.

These new Lens features are now rolling out to Android and should be available through the Google Lens app.
