Here are all the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite specs we think we know so far - Android

The Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite won't be like the Galaxy S10e. Here's what we think we know so far.

This year, Samsung launched a bevy of Galaxy S10 devices: the Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10 Plus, Galaxy S10 5G, and the Galaxy S10e. Now, rumors point to another device on the way, too, tentatively called the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite. We have some information about the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite specs below.

Confusingly, there probably won’t be anything “lite” about this new device at all. The rumored specs we’ve seen so far suggest that the device will be equal to or better than all the specs of the Samsung Galaxy S10e.

As such, it’s not quite clear to whom this device will be geared. Unless Samsung can make the device even cheaper than the Galaxy S10e, we feel like all the bases are covered: Galaxy S10e for the budget-conscious, S10 or S10 Plus for the premium market, and S10 5G for the ultra-premium market. If the S10 Lite exists as an in-betweener for the S10e and the regular S10, it could cannibalize sales of the other devices.

We first heard about the potential existence of the S10 Lite from SamMobile. Since then, we’ve seen a few other rumors from the same source, so there’s quite a bit of information available.

Check out the specs table below for what we know so far about the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite specs.

If you see that table above and think it looks familiar, you’re right on the money: most of those specs are exactly the same as the ones rumored for the Samsung Galaxy A91, which possibly could be an Indian exclusive. It’s all very murky at the moment, but it’s very possible that Samsung could push the Galaxy A91 to some markets and then rebrand that same phone as the Galaxy S10 Lite in other markets. This would make sense for the United States, where the “S” line is much more popular than the “A” line.

The Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite specs are much more fleshed-out than the other “lite” phone we expect to see soon from Samsung: the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite. As of now, we don’t know much at all about that device, other than its rumored existence and some possible colorways.
