iOS has a lot of things going for it: quick updates, better third-party app support, iMessage compatibility, and more. But there’s one area which iOS consistently falls behind Android, and that’s customization.
People love to customize their Android phones. You can change just about anything about your home screen setup. You can swap out different icon packs and home screen launchers. Some phones even let you customize the look and feel of your settings menu and theme without the need to download any third-party apps. It’s pretty great!
Some of us aren’t all-in on home screen customization, though. Personally, I set up my usual icon layout and pick a nice stock wallpaper. I’ll also tweak some of the accent and theme colors if I have a phone that natively supports those options, but I won’t usually go out of my way to completely reskin my phone.
What about you? Do you customize your Android experience or do you tend to leave everything nearly unchanged? Cast your vote in the poll, and tell us in the comments how you customize your phone.
