Pick one - Quicker, buggier updates or slower, more stable updates (Poll) - Android

Would you rather have quicker, buggier updates or would you rather wait for a more stable release?

Every year, Google releases a new version of Android, but not everyone gets it right away. If you don’t own a Pixel phone, you could be waiting as long as a year for your phone’s manufacturer to roll out the update.

Every phone is different, and companies have very different approaches to issuing major software updates. For years, Motorola would be the first to the punch, oftentimes rolling out updates to its phones even before Google. However, those speedy updates came with some big caveats — much of the time, they’d be riddled with bugs and stability issues.

Don't miss

Other manufacturers take their time with updates to make sure all the bugs are squashed before rolling them out to their phones. Samsung is usually pretty slow to roll out updates, but in my experience the updates are relatively bug-free.

Which do you prefer? Would you rather have updates sooner even if it means you may run into some bugs? Or would you rather wait until all the bugs are squashed before receiving the update? Cast your vote in the poll below.
