We talk about smartphone cameras a lot here at Android Authority, but most of those conversations revolve around photos, not video. It’s simple: photos are easier and quicker to take than video, and not every situation requires a video to be taken for you to capture that memory.
Even smartphone OEMs omit the video capabilities of their devices in promotional materials. It almost seems like video is an afterthought for many of us.
I can’t tell you how long it’s been since I took a video on my phone. I record a handful of drumming videos here and there, but I rarely need to capture video at any other time.
