Our smartphone privacy is becoming a very hot topic, but how seriously are you taking it?

Brave Browser on Android phone 2

Privacy has been a hot topic as of late. With governments attempting to co-opt our technology under the guise of trying to stop criminals and major corporations trying to track our every move for financial gain, if you’re not already thinking about privacy, you probably should be. But how seriously are you taking smartphone privacy right now?

Here at Android Authority, we run polls to help give us an idea of how our readers feel about various topics. Today’s poll asks a simple question: what are you doing when it comes to smartphone privacy? Some of you might not be doing anything while others might be going to any extreme necessary to keep their phones locked down. The majority of you are probably somewhere in between.

Recently, the privacy-centric web browser Brave hit a new milestone of 15 million monthly active users, showing that lots of people are ready to ditch Chrome if it means more privacy. Even popular podcaster Joe Rogan says he’s using it.

Are you using Brave or another browser with similar features? How about a VPN? How far are you taking things? Check out the poll below and let us know what’s up:
