Today, Realme announced something very exciting. The company is finally releasing its Xiaomi Mi Band series competitor — the Realme Band. Realme CEO Madhav Sheth confirmed the company was working on a much-anticipated fitness tracker a few months ago, but we hadn’t heard much after that until now.

This ultra-budget fitness wearable comes packed with a bunch of features, and it sports three colorways: black, green, and yellow. Previously, Sheth said Realme aims to become “India’s largest tech lifestyle brand,” and the Realme Band seems like a good step in that direction.

The Realme Band features all the bells and whistles you would expect from a modern fitness tracker. It touts a decent-sized a 0.96-inch 160 x 80 color display, a heart rate sensor, sleep tracking, workout tracking, and IP68 water resistance. It also supports mobile notifications, projected battery life of up to nine days, and it even comes with a special cricket tracking mode for customers in India.

What’s most impressive about this fitness tracker is its low price point. The Realme Band comes in at a cool Rs. 1,499 (~$20). For reference, that price tag manages to undercut even the $40 Xiaomi Mi Band 4.

The Realme Band is available for purchase in India right now on Realme’s website, but it will also be available on Amazon March 9. Realme also plans to release the device in more markets in the near future, so keep an eye out for that.

Realme Band Realme's first ever fitness tracker
The Realme Band is an ultra-low-cost fitness tracker that offers all the bells and whistles you'd expect. It supports sleep monitoring, it has a heart rate sensor, and it will track up to nine different fitness activities. It manages to offer all that and more while also undercutting nearly all of the competition.
