Bottom Line

The Targus Chill Mat is a decent laptop cooler for people with Ultrabooks, MacBooks, and similar products. However, the Chill Mat's smaller fans, lack of power user features, and its one-size-fits-all approach make it a difficult recommendation for hotter gaming laptops and, well, power users.
