If the countless options in India’s extremely popular affordable smartphone segment weren’t cutting it for you, Realme today introduced two new devices that deliver the goods with big batteries and a focus on design.

Realme Narzo 10

First up is the Realme Narzo 10. The phone is a take on the recently launched Realme 6i and is powered by a MediaTek Helio G80 chipset. The 6.5-inch display with an HD+ resolution is bog standard for the category.

The phone has a particular focus on imaging and design, packs a 48MP primary shooter in addition to an 8MP ultra-wide lens. A 2MP depth sensor and 2MP macro camera round off the camera setup.

Prospective buyers will appreciate the 5,000mAh battery with 18W charging support. The phone ships in a single variant with 4GB of RAM and 128GB storage, and is priced at Rs. 11,999 (~$160), which isn’t a bad deal considering the overall package.

Realme Narzo 10A

Elsewhere, the Narzo 10A caters to the entry-level segment and is priced to match. This is basically a Realme C3 variant when you look at the spec sheet. The MediaTek Helio G70 powered phone packs a similar 6.5-inch display as the Narzo 10, but replaces the camera setup with a 12MP primary sensor and a pair of 2MP cameras (portrait and macro). You do still get the same 5,000mAh battery but miss out on 18W charging support. Unlike the Narzo 10, the phone sports a micro-USB connector which is definitely a downer.

This mostly matches the Realme C3 then, although the new phone seems to sport an extra 2MP camera compared to the C3’s dual-camera combo.

The Realme Narzo 10A ships in a single 3GB RAM, 32GB storage configuration and is priced at Rs. 8,499 (~$112).

The two phones aren’t the most exciting launches, but it is interesting to see Realme bolster its entry-level smartphone range with options that cater to users who might value design and battery life over sheer performance.

The Realme Narzo 10 and Narzo 10A go on sale over on Flipkart and Realme.com starting May 18 and May 22 respectively.
