Don’t like Android 10 gestures Now, you can customize them with gesturePlus - Android

If you're not a fan of the default Android 10 gestures, you'll want to check this app out.

Android 10 Gesture Navigation

Android 10 is the latest mobile hotness from Google. It launched at the beginning of Q4 last year, and with it came a plethora of new features, tweaks, and optimizations. Most notably, Android 10 introduced a brand new way to navigate around your mobile device. Though many prefer these new and intuitive gestures, other people do not.

If you find yourself in the latter group, then we have some good news. Thanks to the developer that brought us one of the best Bixby button remapper apps — the unoriginally named Bixby Button Remapper — you can now customize Android 10’s baked-in navigation gestures with an app called gesturePlus (h/t: Android Police).

gesturePlus is a free app, though you will need to fork out a whopping $2.50 via an in-app purchase to unlock the app’s pro features. The free version lets users assign different actions to a tap of the navigation bar, while the pro version unlocks several other features. Some of these include the ability to bring up Google Assistant by long-pressing the navigation bar, adjust gesture sensitivity, and toggle haptic feedback.

You can also disable Android 10’s new back gesture altogether if you manually enable it via ADB but only on Samsung devices. We don’t know what that would be the case, but we hope the developer brings that functionality to other handsets in the future.

If your device is running Android 10 and you want to give gesturePlus a go, you can download it from the link below. If you don’t have the update on your smartphone yet, be sure to check out our Android 10 device update hub to see when it should land on your device. We keep that article up to date as we learn more about when some of the most popular manufacturers plan to release Android 10 on their devices.
