LG V60 launches this week — Here’s how much it costs on all major carriers (Update) - Android

Update: This is how much the LG V60 will cost at AT&T.

Update, March 17, 2020 (2:19 PM ET): We’ve updated the article with AT&T’s LG V60 pricing details. Read on for more information.

Original article, March 16, 2020 (7:29 AM ET): LG announced its first 2020 flagship — the LG V60 — less than a month ago, and US carriers are now preparing to release the OEM’s new 5G device. AT&T, T-Mobile, US Cellular, and Verizon will all sell the LG V60, though prices will range depending on the carrier.

Verizon’s version will tout mmWave 5G, while the other three will only support sub-6GHz 5G connectivity. No matter which carrier you are on, future LG V60 owners can expect a 6.8-inch Full HD+ display, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC, the Adreno 650 GPU, 8GB of RAM, 128GB of expandable storage, and a 5,000mAh battery. The device will also come with an in-display fingerprint scanner, a rear triple-sensor camera setup, and an ever-coveted headphone jack.

Here are all the pricing and availability details we know so far for each US carrier.

Verizon

The Verizon variant’s full name is quite the mouthful: the LG V60 ThinQ 5G UW. The carrier announced it would open pre-orders for this mmWave-capable version March 26.

Thankfully, those extra 5G speeds don’t come at too high of a cost. The device will retail at Verizon for $949 with the dual-screen case included, which is only about $50 more than T-Mobile’s and AT&T’s bundles. Alternatively, customers will be able to opt for a two-year installment plan at $39.58 per month.

Like T-Mobile, Verizon will offer the device in classy white and classy blue color variants. Verizon customers can also get a second LG V60 free if they add a new line with unlimited data.

AT&T

AT&T confirmed its plans to sell the LG V60 on the device’s launch day, though it didn’t announce an official release date until nearly a month later. Customers will be able to pick one up for themselves starting March 20.

An AT&T representative told Android Authority the device will retail for $900, or customers can opt for a 30-month financing plan priced at $30 per month. For that money, LG’s latest handset will come with the dual-screen attachment included. AT&T will also offer a second LG V60 for free via a qualifying installment plan to new customers and those who add an additional line to their current plan.

T-Mobile

T-Mobile announced it would sell the LG V60 starting March 20. The device will come in two color variants — classy white and classy blue — and it will retail for $799. Customers can also opt to pick up the device for $33.34 per month on a two-year installment plan.

The company also announced BOGO and device bundle deals. T-Mobile customers can purchase one LG V60 with an installment plan and get a second one for free with bill credits. They can also get the device with the new dual-screen case for either $899 at full retail cost or for $37.50 per month for two years.

US Cellular

US Cellular is also expected to sell the LG V60, though it has yet to announce an official release date or price. We will update this section as soon as we have more details.
