The series isn’t cheap though, starting at $999 for the Galaxy S20 and going all the way up to $1,399 for the Galaxy S20 Ultra. But you’re getting a ton of features here, ranging from 8K recording and ultra-high resolution cameras to water resistance and wireless charging.

Original article, February 12, 2020 (7:55 AM ET): The Samsung Galaxy S20 series is finally official, and we’ve once again got three core models to choose from. There’s the base model Galaxy S20, the S20 Plus, and the top-end S20 Ultra.
You’re still getting the same basic experience no matter which one you choose, but those on the hunt for the absolute best zoom capabilities and more will need to check out the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra.
We’ve rounded up all the details on the Samsung Galaxy S20 price, release date, and all the available deals so far. Check ’em out below!
The Samsung Galaxy S20 series was announced on February 11, 2020, but the first launch wave will come on March 6, 2020. That means customers in the US will be able to grab the device then. Customers can also pre-order their S20 series device from February 21, 2020.
If you’re not in the first wave of markets, you’ll need to wait a few weeks after March 6 to get your hands on it.

If you have a phone you are willing to trade in, getting your pre-order from Samsung.com might be the best way to go. Samsung will pay you more money than usual for your old phone if you upgrade to an S20 device. High-end phones such as the Galaxy Note 10 Plus and iPhone 11 Pro Max will earn you $700 to put towards a Galaxy S20 phone. Older phones will get you much less, but it’s definitely worth checking to see what your device is worth before hitting the “Buy” button.
